We know many families are eager to learn what school will look like this coming fall and what COVID response requirements, such as masks and quarantine protocols, will be in place for Minnesota schools.
As always, your students’ health, safety, and educational experiences are our utmost concern. COVID has presented many, many challenges for all of us. Minnesota Schools Received Updated COVID-19 Response Guidance for 2021-22 on July 28, 2021
Current state guidelines from the Minnesota Department of Health, released on July 28, 2021, recommend but do not require that masks be worn indoors in schools. The state is relying on local schools to make their own decisions regarding masking and specific quarantine protocol requirements.
River Grove’s mask policy is subject to change due to updated recommendations, requirements, and guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health, the Minnesota Department of Education, and/or the CDC.
